National Olympic Committee of I.R.Iran has organized the “1st Advanced Sport Management Course” under the auspices of Olympic Solidarity
Also there is a book in 6 chapters for this course which was compiled by Memos course directors which translated in Persian language by Iranian NOC.
According to course regulation, it was organized in 7 modules in each month from 2009 to 2010; the 1st module was opened in the presence of Mr. Bahram Afsharzadeh, Iranian NOC Secretary General in December 2009 and the 2nd session was organized in 2 days from 4 to 5th Jan. 2010.
Among the others 11 participants were selected who are high-ranking directors of several Federations and sport organizations: Hockey, Chess, Baseball, Wushu, Canoeing, Cycling, Skate, Skating federations and National Paralympic Committee, National Olympic Committee and Physical Education Organization who have successfully passed “OS Administrative Course in Iran” and have long management background in sport.
Totally the participants are expected to take part in 15 sessions and it continues with non-attendance education, case studies, discussions and researches. In each session they discuss about one chapter of the book, pass the exams and present their case study.
At the end of the course, the result of the exams and the other activities will be announced to Olympic Solidarity. After OS assessment, qualified participants will receive diplomas.
