The Education & Research Deputy of the National Olympic Academy of Iran, Mrs. Nahid Karimi (PhD) was officially invited by the Chinese Taipei national Olympic Committee Secretary General as the keynote speaker of the International Sports Training course on Gender Equality.
This event in which a large number of both in-person and online participants (about 100 people) came together was attended by sports directors, university students and some delegates of invited countries.
Referring to the IOC Agenda 2020+5, Dr. karimi firstly highlighted the importance of the topic of Change as well as the Gender Equality under the present world circumstances and supported her arguments by presenting various scientific and experimental findings. She further continued her remarks, emphasizing the need for women social development particularly in terms of sports industry.
In conclusion, the course lecturer provided the audience with a short activities of the national Olympic committee with regard to women sports affairs including the NOC Women Sports commission report of activities subsequent to which a few number of participants had the opportunity to ask their questions which were appropriately answered by Dr. karimi.
