The NOA Department of Cardiology and Sports has organized an international heart and sports webinar on July with the presence of an international instructor.
Iran NOA; Tehran: Due to the spread of Covid19 and cancellation of
competitions and sports exercises in recent months, there are concerns around
the return of athletes to competitive sports activities.
In this regard, considering the need to hold distance workshops,
the Cardiology and Sports Department of the National Olympic Academy has
managed to organize an international online workshop with the presence of Dr.
Michael Papadakis, Chairman of the Education Committee and Head of the Heart
and Sports Department of the European Association for Heart Disease Prevention.
In this international webinar, the latest findings on comprehensive
methods of cardiovascular assessment in athletes to prevent sudden cardiac
death, the most common signs and symptoms associated with cardiovascular
disease in athletes and recommendations for participation in the sports will be
offered to participants.
