The second meeting of the Policy-Making Council for protecting the athletes against aggression and abuse in sports was held at the National Olympic Academy.
Iran NOA; Tehran: At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Reza Gharakhanlu,
Vice President of the Council, member of the Culture and Education Commission
of ANOC and President of the National Olympic Academy, reported the activities
carried out since the beginning and submitted the second agenda of the council.
Reviewing the rules of the council for the
necessary edits, discussing and exchanging views regarding the appointment of
trustworthy and qualified people as protective officers for athletes, reviewing
the proposed process to address the issues raised and received by athletes to the
Council and review of the proposal to hold two workshops to start educational
activities were among the most important topics discussed at the meeting.
